Teacher’s Professional Development Workshop: AM
February 15 2019
9:00 am - 11:30 am
The Robert Bateman Centre regularly offers a wide variety of educational programs for students from Kindergarten to Grade Three. We are excited to offer yet another Professional Development Workshop available, FREE OF CHARGE, for Victoria area teachers!
On Friday February 15th, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, join our educational staff at the Centre for a morning of learning, art, and nature.
Included in this workshop will be: a mini gallery tour and information about Robert Bateman and his art, presentations from our educators about our available programs, as well as a hands-on, outdoor experience of our Nature Sketch education program!
This workshop is catered to your learning as a teacher about art and nature, and how you can implement the values of the Bateman Centre with your students in your classroom. Our enquiry based education programs are linked to the new BC curriculum and competencies. Each one is enriched with the integration of literacy, fine arts and stewardship of our natural world. These can be done in the gallery, in the classroom, or a combination of both!
Register now to save your spot!
We hope to meet you at the Centre this school year.
*Additional sessions may be opened depending on demand*
