Nature X: Reconciliation and the Wolf

Bateman Foundation Gallery of Nature

October 24 2019

6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This event is now fully booked. Please email lauren.ball@batemanfoundation.org to be added to the waitlist.

Nature X is beyond thrilled to welcome Gary Allan, Randy Fred and Natasha Rankin of the Tundra Speaks Society, and Tundra the Wolf.

This exclusive presentation will highlight the ecological value of the wolf and its importance to many First Nation peoples; from its prevalence in art, to their related familial structures, and the connection of all plants and animals.

Through video and storytelling, we will learn how wolves came to be known as the “Keepers of the Balance”, and what they can teach us about environmental stewardship. The speakers have learned much from the wolf. They want you to learn, too.

This free event will begin with a drinks reception, generously hosted by Spinnakers Brewpub, and a meet and greet with Tundra the wolf at 6:30 p.m. The talk will begin at 7:15 p.m.
