Nature Sketch on The Great Trail: Vancouver

Capilano River Regional Park

September 14 2019

10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for our first ever cross-Canada Nature Sketch! This year, the Bateman Foundation and Trans Canada Trail (TCT) are teaming up to host Nature Sketch on The Great Trail, a series of events along The Great Trail of Canada – the world’s longest network of recreational multi-use trails.

Nature Sketch on The Great Trail in Vancouver will take in the beauty of Capilano River Regional Park in North Vancouver. Attendees will meet at the Cleveland Dam parking lot before taking a short walk along the Trail in the park, guided by a naturalist and a Bateman Foundation sketch artist.

This event is FREE and open to budding artists of all ages. Places are limited, so register NOW to ensure you have a spot, and receive your free gift of a sketchbook and pencil. We advise all attendees to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the event start time.

Nature Sketch on The Great Trail is an initiative of the Bateman Foundation and Trans Canada Trail, and was made possible by a generous gift from Mr. Rodney Briggs.

Important information! The designated meeting spot is the picnic tables/washrooms beside the Cleveland Dam Parking Lot at the intersection of Capilano Rd, Nancy Green Way and Prospect Ave.
