Nature Sketch on The Great Trail: Toronto

Riverdale Park West

September 14 2019

10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This event is now fully booked. But please consider joining the Fall 2019 Nature Sketch course! Details on both Junior and Adult classes in Toronto can be found here.

Join us for our first ever cross-Canada Nature Sketch! This year, the Bateman Foundation and Trans Canada Trail (TCT) are teaming up to host Nature Sketch on The Great Trail, a series of events along The Great Trail of Canada – the world’s longest network of recreational multi-use trails.

Acclaimed Canadian landscape artist Robert Bateman will guide attendees along The Great Trail in Riverdale Park West and offer expert tips for avid nature sketchers. Broadcasting icon and Chair of the TCT Foundation Board Valerie Pringle will also attend this special edition of Nature Sketch.

This event is FREE and open to budding artists of all ages. Places are limited, so register NOW to ensure you have a spot, and receive your free gift of a sketchbook and pencil. We advise all attendees to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the event start time.

Nature Sketch on The Great Trail is an initiative of the Bateman Foundation and Trans Canada Trail, and was made possible by a generous gift from Mr. Rodney Briggs.

Important information! The designated meeting spot is by the water fountain just inside the park from the parking area. Parking is along Carlton Street.
