Master Artist Seminar

October 13 2017 - October 18 2017

All Day

Join master wildlife painter Robert Bateman to explore ideas and techniques that make successful paintings.

Learn how to foster creative ideas as the basis for a strong works of art; participate in slide presentations and discussions; talk about Robert’s work; watch him demonstrate the creation of a painting explaining the subtleties of its execution; discuss the history of art, focusing on principles you can apply in your own work; learn techniques that will enable you to faithfully capture your concept and express your vision. Although not an art studio class, tips on technique will be in abundance.

Bring images of one or two of your own works in digital format for discussion and gentle critique, plus your camera to photograph beautiful Cortes Island for references to use in your artwork.
